<p>Extras:</p>
<p>4 yr Varsity XC (captian) and Indoor Track
3 yr Varsity Outdoor Track
Battle of the Bands Committee - Hurricane Katrina Fundraiser
Marching Band and Concert Band 4 yrs
Spanish Club 1 yr
Climbed Mt. Rainier in summer of 2005</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot. It can be tougher for out of state but should not be too bad. Are you recruitable for track? Their ES program is awesome.</p>

I think you have a good chance. Make sure you write a really good essay...how hard were your classes??Any honors or APs? And, to be honest, I think you have an even better chance if you are not applying for Financial Aid..
Cool you climbed Ranier. They LOVE people like you. UVM is an excellent school in a gorgeous city..you will love it. Where else are you applying?</p>
<p>Most if not all of my classes were on the advanced and honors track at my hs. my school doesnt offer that many ap courses, but i took 3 of them my senior year and got good grades that i sent to UVM. im applying to UW and Oregon.</p>
