If you're...
OOS-slight reach
Instate-match

im OOS great....

Michigan doesn't care about SAT IIs, so don't worry about those (you can retake if your other schools count them).

What's your SAT out of 1600?

yeah, you need to beef up your SAT score.

1240 out of 1600

Hmm...GPA is excellent and ECs are good, but...I would get the 1600 portion up to +1320.

Your GPA is good, but your SAT is a little low. This year's mid 50% range for incoming Freshmen was 1260-1480 (1900-2200), with a mean of 1370 (2040). I would assume the average for out of staters is slightly higher. So you are roughly 150 points below the mean. For now, I'd say Michigan is a reach, but if you can improve your SAT to 1300 (2000), you would have a reasonable chance.
