First a little backround, then the stats. (I'm an incoming junior)

My HS:
-98% Hispanic
-99% "low income"
-little under 50% graduation rate
-94% of those who do "pursue higher education" go to community college
-(old) SAT averages around 800 (it fluctuates, but never reallly rises)
-around 7 people per year get at least a 3 in an AP exam

Me:
-Rank: 1st out of a little over 500 (it's a given)
-GPA: counselors do it once a year, so I don't know for sure, but I did it myself and got a 102.something (weighted)
-SAT/ACT: have yet to take them, but realistically estimating a 2000-2050, judging by PSAT's and tons of practice exams
-AP's: (not proud, but for the sake of honesty)
W. His-2
Eng Lang-3
Span Lang-5 (yes, it's my first language so it was a breeze)
-EC's: Marching/Concert band... I'm drum major, and got to the statewide level of a solos competition. (Horn)

My dream university is MIT, but I know that's a huge reach. This is what I'm planning to do for Junior/Senior year:

AP's- Biology, Physics, Calculus AB and BC, US History, Macro/Micro, Economics, English Lit.
I still have 3 open spots in my schedule for next year (I'd have exhausted all AP classes by then), so I don't know what to do with those. I'm also planning to really try hard on the AP exams, since last year my counselor talked me out of paying much attention to them (I guess so I wouldn't be disappointed) and I didn't prepare, spending precious class time on "TAKS stuff" (in TX.. really basic knowledge test, but nobody passes it here, hence the unacceptability rating. But I, completely unexpectedly, did well, at least far better than I thought I would, so now I know they're not impossible, and that 5's are very possible.

Also planning to join math club, and try to start a chess club. I've been looking for an internship or volunteer opportunities that involve computers, but I've yet to find any.

So, give me your input. What can I do to improve? What am I doing wrong? What are my chances at MIT?

PLEASE BE BRUTALLY HONEST
