Chances?

<p>Umm...I'm gonna say you don't have much of a shot. The 2.8 is simply unacceptable. If it can't be explained with a legitimate reason (personal illness, family troubles etc.), it just shows that you are lazy. It doesn’t matter if you are smart or not; it does not demonstrate responsibility. Harvard (or many other schools) doesn't want a kid who's very smart but does not do something because he (or she) has decided it is "busy" work. So what? Is that history paper at Harvard gonna be "busy work" too?</p>

<p>Maybe...just maybe if you can get recruited for football (don't know how good you are), then perhaps (again, just perhaps) you'll stand a chance. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else with your high test scores, learn some discipline, do well in school and try transferring.</p>
