What do you mean by "hard school to stay in?" Whats the freshman retention rate/graduation rate? Please send me the link where I can find this info. I mean, I love math and science and all, but if its like super d duper tough, I hope they have like lots of help available.

Don't have all the statistics off hand, I'm sure they're all somewhere. I know a few years ago RPI had the highest transfer our of rate for a few reasons, people hated it, or they couldn't handle engineering school. There are a lot of people who come in as engineers only to transfer to another major like IT or Management.

Your grades and test scores indicate that you're intelligent and a good student, as long as you don't screw up you won't have a problem at RPI. There are a decent amount of people let in though with SATs in the 1200s and such, getting into the engineering program isn't that hard. Because of that they really try to seperate them quickly and weed people out in the core classes. Hell my class was the largest class ever because more kids than expected accepted admission, the result. The school has mandated that curves be smaller and the average be lower, so that more kids will fail out of engineering or transfer to other schools.
