Chances ???

<p>Ok, I was just wondering if any of you could give me some insight fo rmy chances w. First off, I would just like to say, I have only just started my junior year, but i wanted to post, so that you intelligent people can give me some pointers/ideas. Ok so here we go
I go to prestigous jesuit school
i have a 3.8 weighted gpa
so far i have taken 5 honors classes and 2 Ap
all ap for senior year
4 years of football
4 years of baseball
somewhere around 150 hours of community service so far
my last psat was some where around 1700
I'm currently taking a class to try to bump that score up
Ummmm,,,, key club,,,,best buddies,,,,,,National Honors Society</p>

<p>So basically I was wondering mostly of what i should do in the next year to better my chances to my ultimate dream school...</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance, your stats are good. Pdine really looks at Church involvement so get involved and recommendations from clergy or ministers are especially good if you have a good relationship with them. They seem to genuinely look at the whole person, not just stats, so great stats alone may be overlook if you don't have the rest. What can you bring to their community??? Make your essay personal and true to who you are. Good luck, it is an incredible school where my D has found a home. She also came from a Catholic school and has transitioned very comfortably to pdine...and the great campus doesn't hurt. Establish a connection with your areas admit person, if they are impressed they may have some influence behind the closed doors. Good Luck!</p>
