A few things you didn't mention that are important:
1) your class rank
2) do you have any leadership experience, such as team captain, club or class officer?
3) have you been taking honors and AP classes?
4) SAT scores? (You should take both the SAT and ACT at least twice)

In my very unprofessional opinion I think you've got a pretty good shot.

Class rank is very important - and you didn't state this. But I would guess are somewhere in the top 40-70% of your class. This is not that great.

Your ACT score is excellent - it is so good in fact that they are going to wonder why your gpa/class rank isn't better. So be prepared to explain this in a credible and honest way.

Sports look fine. I'll let the rest of the forum comment on the rest.

I think GPA's are so different from school to school it is difficult to compare. My daughters GPA is similar to chillax and she is in the top 20% of her class.
Her school does not weight many classes, and the grading system is tough.
Hopefully with such good ACT scores Chillax is taking the most demanding courses esp in science and math available in school. This is very important as well.

yea - the way I see it is nothing ventured nothing gained. I have no idea what they are looking for next year in track, but go to the Army athletics web site, look up men's track and see how their times compare to yours.

Like everyone else has said, you look like a pretty good canidate, just make sure to contact the coaching staffs and your MALO (Military Academy Liason Officer) as soon as possible.

West Point will send you a letter with your MALO's name, number, and email address along with everything else you need to know. As for the interview, it's just like applying for a job, suit and tie do the trick.
