Chances?

I think I have a pretty good chance of getting in here, but I'm not positive...I really want to go here. Also, do I have a good chance of getting a scholarship?

I am OOS

UW GPA: 3.93
W GPA: 4.52
What is the Michigan GPA/how is it calculated?
Rank: 1/550

SAT: 1490/2180 800M, 690CR, 690W
SAT IIs: Chem 790, Spanish 740
ACT: 32Comp 35M 34E 29R 28S

ECs: Spanish honorary President, Junior Statesmen of America Vice President/Co-founder, Speech and Debate (senior year only), Golf (8-10 hrs/week, recreational)

I'm applying to the college, and preferred admit to the business school...input please?

I'll probably be applying early november

Your chances are very good. You'll probably be accepted, however, I would recommend applying earlier. Early November may be a bit on the late side. Early October-ish would be much more preferrable.

Ok thanks, I'll try to apply earlier

Chime up 'o knowledgeable ones, but GPA I believe is unweighted, core courses only. A is 4, B is 3, C is 2 etc.

We have a vale! A VALE!

Yeah good chances.

You are almost definitely sure to be admitted. Submit your application in the next 2 weeks. Do not wait! I would go with your SAT scores. A 1500/2200 is better than a 32. With your credentials, not only will you most likely be admitted, but there is a great chance you will be admitted into the honors college.

With regards to Ross, you certainly have the numbers, but Ross looks at the essays very closely. Be sure you articular why you wish to major in Business.

As far as getting a scholarship, I'd say you have a pretty decent chance. You are valedictorian, you have close to a 4.0 unweighed GPA and your SAT scores are in the right ball park. However, scholarships aren't a definite, so hope for the best but expect the worst!
