<p>Suggestions for good CS schools in a little less daunting price range would be helpful. :)</p>

<p>Carnegie you are probably in. They are somewhat known for CS, but their admissions is very easy. Apply to Berkeley if you are instate.</p>

<p>Fastmed, I'm sorry, but can you tell me what you are basing than on? SCS is not only the hardest school within CMU to get into (their acceptance rate was slightly less than 20%), but also the stats of those they admit are on par with schools like MIT and Caltech (the 25%-75% range on the math SATs is 720 to 800).</p>
