My brother is strongly considering the Indiana University. He is a senior this year in high school--thinking about majoring in Accounting. We are from Maryland and do not have a good grasp on his chances of being admitted to the University. If you could provide some feedback it would be greatly appreciated. Here are his stats:

HS GPA: 3.1
ACT: 21
Rank: Top 1/3 of Class
Curriculum: Has been enrolled in Honors level and AP classes throughout high school.

He's at the lower end, but I see him probably getting in. One thing to remember is that if he wants to get into the business school, he can't slack off freshmen year. I'm a freshman now, and it seems like half the freshmen I meet think they're business majors. That will change next year.

Well, my whole family has gone to Indiana University including a good friend of mine who had an ACT score of 20, gpa of 3.0 and few exc's. But that was 6 years ago. IU just changed its requirements to get in. So your chances are deteriating since I know a kid who applied last year with a 3.6 who was rejected. Your chances right now are 60-70%, get those test scores up (ACT at 24) and it bumps up to 85%.
