<p>You don't sound mediocre... I would guess you're about average. Stats are pretty good (grades, test scores), and you've got a decent list of ECs. Your activities by themselves don't stand out, so the way to make yourself appealing to the admissions officers is... ::gasp:: your essays. If you've read any of the other threads, you would have caught myself and many other posters saying the same bit of advice over and over again: write about an activity that you're passionate about. This should be some activity/experience that you have truly enjoyed, contributed to, excelled in, and learned something valuable from. Don't laundry list or merely describe your experiences; tell how they made you feel. Colleges want to know who you are, not just what you did. Let your personality shine.</p>
