I think you have a good chance at most. Ur schedule has been dificult and your SAT scores are decent and ur EX Curs are good. I do think that Maryland, Boston U, and George Wash are reaches but certainly not out of the question.

I think your gpa is kind of low, even weighted.

6rings, I'm working on it.

bump.

William & Mary--Reach

George Washington U--Slight Reach
Boston U--Match to Slight Reach
U Richmond--Match
Virginia Tech--Match to Slight Reach

calcuzer, thanks!
can I just ask why you consider V Tech to be match - slight reach?
I'm not majoring in engineering or anything.. probably business;
even so, is it a slight reach for me?

Sunshinee...............I really do hope you get into William and Mary because I know from your past posts that you really would like to come here. That said, your GPA is a bit low and coming from NOVA that may make it even tougher. For some reason though, I still think it's worth a shot..........ubt apply knowing it's a true reach for you. I do think you will have no problem getting into Tech. I definitely think you will be accepted there. All of my friends who go to Tech absolutely love it. One of my best friends is at Tech even though it was not his first choice. He originally thought it was too big. I have to say that he is having a great time and has met so many fun people and wouldn't think of transferring ever. So keep that in mind. Of course JMU and George Mason are pretty much a sure thing for you too, in my opinion. Let us know how it goes and Good Luck to you. You've done very well in high school and will get into a great school.

My bad............you said you were NOT from NOVA. Got it.

ahh pedox, you have no idea!
I totally fell in love with W&M when I visited last winter!
What do you think my shots are at W&M compared to UVA?

Oh and I'd like to mention that I have an upward trend in GPAs from grades 9-11 and last year, my GPA for just junior year was a 3.7 and for first quarter, it will be a 4.2 at the least, possibly higher.

bump bump bump
