Umm, I'm a bit confused. How can you be an "olympics volunteer" for 3 YEARS when the official Beijing Olympics volunteer applications for domestic Chinese residents only began this past August 3 months a ago?

Enlighten us on that, since I'm also quite interested in going there in 2008 and do some volunteer work.

Also, I recommend choosing an alternative subject for your SAT 2. Everybody knows that SAT II Chinese is one of the easiest subject tests, even for a native English speaker. Considering that you've spoken and lived in a Chinese environment for the past 17 years, a 790 or even an 800 on "SAT Chinese" probably isn't all that impressive: it's a natural advantage/short cut. If you want to really challenge yourself, I recommend choosing another subject test, say Chemistry, Physics, or Biology (most kids educated in China are always exceedingly strong in those three sciences).

2008 olympic volunteer was the activity name ..... sry about not elaborating on that. Bascially, it's teaching English to chinese local residents (espeically children).
and for the SAT2 Chinese, i only lived in China for two and a half years .. and since i lived (and living) in China, i thought taking Chinese for SAT 2 was obvious..
but thanks for the comment on that :)

if ur native language is chinese the sat 2 chinese doesn;t help at all =( and i thought financial aid does not impact decisions with exception of waitlisting...
