i am a junior.

numbers:
gpa: 3.2 (we don't have a weighted grading scale or class ranks at our school)
act: 21 (sophomore)
-- i think this will be easy to raise, i took it as a sophomore and didn't study at all.

a moderately difficult high school w/ toughest classes available (concurrent, ap, honors)

ec's:
1 year baseball,2 years track,2 years cross country, i also run marathons.
i am the yearbook editor and will be again next year.
500+ hours of community service.

i'm interested in: george mason, american, puget sound, vermont, warren wilson, and the evergreen state college.

Fine for TESC, Warren Wilson, Puget Sound...decent for GMU, American, and UVermont.

i was thinking puget sound would be more of a reach.

Your stats are UW GPA of 3.2 with an ACT of 21 (500/500=1000/1600). ECs are good and are worth 100 to 150 extra SAT points at least.

Your schools:
TESC--UW GPA of 3.12 with SAT of 1126/1600--so Match
Warren Wilson--UW GPA of 3.32 with SAT of 1168/1600--so Match to Slight Reach (closer to slight reach)
Puget Sound--UW GPA 3.57 with SAT of 1252/1600--so Reach
George Mason--UW GPA 3.32 with SAT of 1103/1600--so Match to Slight Reach (closer to match)
American--UW GPA 3.47 with SAT of 1223/1600--so Slight Reach
UVermont--UW GPA 3.4 with 1155/1600--so Slight Reach

thanks for your help. i'm expecting to get a 24 or 25 next time i take the act, and hopefully that will make some of those slight reaches, matches. george mason and american are my two favorites.

i've looked at a few more schools since last time i posted, i was hoping that you could tell me what my chances would be at: Lehigh, Pittsburgh, Ithaca College, and DePauw. Thanks
