I think he meant 1570/1600 || 2300/2400.

lol i know, whoamg. its like saying 4.0/4.5

are you serious clendenator?? So if I am the only one applying to Princeton in my country...(LOL..u neva kno), I'd have a 100% chance.....ofcourse with good scores, gpa, recs, ECs and all that stuff????

I wish......lol

thanx guys for ruining my day....so, now my chances have gone from 33.33% to 6%...lol..i knew that..but cledenator was not entirely wrong...princeton might want to include unrepresented country(although not only for the sake of it)...and the other guys from my country are said to be really good...so, there is high probability that at least one of us is selected...though i deeply suspect my own chances..

clendeneator, are you certain? if true, my hopes would soar greatly...

Well, no, i'm not certain, and if only one lithuanian applied but that person had a cumulative 900 sat, they would still not accept them. But it's the same as wanting someone from every state in the U.S. (including the lame ones like Montana and South Dakota). That way they can say on their virtual tour that "50 states and X countries are represtented in the class of 2011." If you're the only one from your country, they will want you to increase X by one. But it really doesn't help if you're from India or china, where billions of applicants come from anyway.

lol i really hope germans refrain from applying... only 2 ed applicants, keeping my fingers crossed for the rd round.

Clendenenator, have you heard officially about that? Because if you'll note my last post Princeton did not have admittees from all 50 states (I will admit, that surprised me, because I thought the same way you did).

Eh, no, actually, it is my own pet theory. Also, i know it to be true of other schools. When i visited rochester, they mentioned several times that they had no applicants from south dakota and urged us to get our non-existant South Dakotan relatives to apply there.

But it must be partially true. How else will they expect a diverse student body if they don't look favorably on people from nowhere countries. Maybe nobody from a certain state applied that year.

....or they accepted people from that state but the ones they accepted decided not come. So I think you're right to a degree, but as previously stated, Princeton won't bend head over heels simply to get as diverse a student body as possible (haha quality not quantity kind of!)

yes, but sailesh has already shown that she's qualified (unless she came across as a bigot in her essay/recs). Thus, we can assume that one of the three people (quite likely him/her) will be accepted, especially in the Early round.

"I think he meant 1570/1600 || 2300/2400."
No, I think he meant 1570/1600 ^ 2300/2400 :)

clendenenator, thanx for saying that i am qualified...but i am not a girl.... u guys have to always ruin my day... what worse can happen to a guy than the fact that his name looks like a girl's name...

Lol........

lol i think your name is MANLY~ ;)

pk.. thanks for saying that...but, are u a boy or a girl? i think ur name probably stands for princeton kid..and u just typed the no.s to make it long...first u tried to keep your name pk123 and since error message came saying that was too short...u added 13...am i right?
i think u are a guy and ur name stands for princeton kid...
but what do i know? u might be princeton krazy as well.. or possibly princeton kween (queen)....lol

lol~~!!

that's about as far off as you can possibly get.

princeton kween....wahahahahaha

btw, i am a boy, and i like 12313 i use it for everything :)

hahaha wow good analysis sailesh
pk reminds me of "pk fire" like in super smash brothers... lol.. anyone with me?

maybe pk are his initials

pk are just random letters. lol ppl these days can't seem to grasp the fact that SOME names might just be random
