(sorry to be a brat, but what kind of response were you expecting? it doesn't matter what anyone says on this forum ... you're still either applying to MIT or not applying to MIT ... unless people give you such negative reviews here so as to dissuade you from applying, but that's not likely since you have decent-looking qualifications. Best of luck on your apps!)

(This is not me trying to be bratty ... this is a real question)

C++ Programming

You've already taken a Java-based AP computer science class in your sophomore year, I assume? And you're taking a C++ course now? That's interesting because I thought they stopped teaching C++ in high schools in favor of Java. What interesting things are you learning in your C++ class that you didn't learn in AP comp. sci.? I'm curious because I'd really love to see more computer science classes taught in high schools beyond what's on the AP comp. sci. exam ...

yea I'm also curious what other schools offer too in terms of CS -- mine has computer graphics and system programming after AP -- really cool classes

but otherwise, good stuff -- especially the internships and robotics/research -- looks like you really took advantage of your opporunities

nah, the problem was that I had received an "Advanced Tech Credit" for AP Comp. Science, and I needed a "BASIC Tech Credit," for graduation purposes, so I had to go frrom AP Comp. Science 2 to Honors Comp. Science 1...Really sucks and makes no sense. But I took it to the school board and they are considering reforming the policy for the future!
