Thanks!!

chances are alrite, nnot great, just alright. The SATs are a bit low for Stanford, as are the SAT IIs. YOur GPA is good, but what is it Unweighted? ECs are pretty good(the golf part and all-amreican part at least). The rest seem like a laundry list, and will not stand out much. IF you write godly essays, you'll have a chancee.

Remember that the top universities want to see passion for one or two activities. HAving a lot is good, but make sure to discuss your most important one(the one you are most passioante about) in your essays. This will create what ppl call a "hook." Good Luck!

Your scores are way low (including APs).

Scores are definitely low, and GPA seems maybe a tad inflated - what is your UW?

However, ECs are excellent, and the athletics (the golf, specially) are too. They definitely boost your chances. Try getting in touch with the golf coach at Stanford, see what happens - it can't hurt.

Do you want to play golf in college?

You've picked some very good golf schools. As you probably know Duke won the NCAA last year, USC was second, and Stanford placed 13th. Stanford has already signed two of the country's top prospects. If you're that good, and you want to play, then I agree that you should call the coach immediately - but it may already be too late. Kentucky sent a golfer to Stanford several years ago, Ted Collins. He was consistently among the best in the state.

Even with the athletic push, your test scores may not be high enough. Over the past few years, Stanford has increased the standards for athletes.

On the other hand, if you want to play golf in college and you're a very good golfer, but not one of the nation's best, say someone who places in the top 15-20 in Kentucky, then you may want to consider D-II or D-III schools. There are a number of very good academic schools where you would have the opportunity to play golf.
