<p><em>this has already been posted in What Are My Chances?</em>
I go to Robinson Secondary in Fairfax, Va. I was just wondering my chances at some of my schools.
i’ve already posted before, but my stats have changed.</p>

<p>STATS:
GPA: 3.929 UW
9th grade: 3.786, 3 B+'s, 4 A’s had a bad year, took all honors classes (4 of them)
10th grade: 4.0, all A’s, took all honors classes (4 of them)
11th grade (switched schools): 4.0, all A’s, took 3 IB classes, 1 AP class
12th grade: so far 4.0, all A’s first quarter and most likely 2nd quarter, taking 2 IB classes, 3 AP classes
so i’ll have 4 AP classes, 5 IB classes, and 8 honors classes by the time i graduate.
SAT I: 790 CR, 770 M, 710 W (1560/1600, 2270/2400) but my highest composite is 2290 (Got a 730 in writing for the June SAT)
SAT II: 760 Math II, 720 Biology M, 680 US History</p>

• Cornell University Summer College Veterinary Program (AN SCI 212 Animal Nutrition, grade: A+), summer 2006
• Dog handler at SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Northern Virginia, fall 2006-present (2.5 hours/week)
• Dog handler at HART (Homeless Animals Rescue Team) 90 Rescue Group and Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Group, 2005-2006 (3 hours/week)
• Horse handler at Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Center (NVTRP) , 2003-2005 (3 hours/week)

also, i am definitely interested in attending UPenn’s vet school later on.</p>

<p>sounds good. i bet the whole vet thing will really set you apart from alot of other applicants. just make your essays amazing and i think you have a decent shot at any ivy.</p>

<p>All of your hours show that you are really dedicated. Keep serving and don't let your numbers slack off in your senior year and I think you'll do just fine.</p>

You WILL get into Penn, provided that you write an excellent "Why Penn" essay (critical to admission, I've heard). And then we shall frolick in the Quad, surrounded by drunken engineering students.</p>

<p>That's the kind of thing that will make an adcom laugh and not in a good way. I'd say cut off the bottom half of each of those lists of EC's</p>
