Chances

Hey i wanted to know if i applied early decision to wharton, what are the chances id get in? Im a freshman in high school. Super competitive school with 24 national ap scholars which was highest in the state. I have a 4.0 unweighted so far and have a 4.56 weighted since ive taken 5 Honors classes already. I am expected to take 13 AP classes by the time I graduate. The latest PSAT scores i got back were a 150, 54 in math, 47 in writing, and 49 in critical reading…not good but my counselor said it was good for a freshman. I am also president of my class of 900, and rank 24 of 900 students. Any help would be good thanks.

no shot because Penn does not accept freshmen from highschool

you're in 9th grade.....

I mean, it's great that you're thinking ahead, but relax. Keep your grades up and prepare for SATs when the time comes and I'm sure you'll be a competitive applicant (actually, I'm really not sure...again, you're a freshman).

I would advise you to stay away from this board until your junior year. Your GPA may change over the next two years, you may see that you don't see yourself as a fit for wharton, etc. Keep options open and see you two years later.

i have another question.....last year i took algebra 1 and got a b. im not sure if i should accept the credit cuz i hav staright a's this year and i dont need the class for high school graduation....any thoughts

is this a joke?
