Chances

I am applying to the school of engineering and was deferred a couple weeks ago. I am planning on retaking the ACT this Feb. Is it a long shot of being appected?

ACT 25
-Math 27
-Science 27
-Reading 24
-English 22

GPA 3.6

EC
-Soccer
-Track
-Tennis
-French Club
-Held a part time job for more then 2 years and counting.

Also this senior year I am taking 3 advanced courses, math, science, and french.

Your chances aren't good. Your GPA is 2/10th of a point lower than average and your ACT is 4 points lower than the average. If you can improve your ACT to 30+, including a 31+ in Math, I'd say your chances will be much improved, but if your ACT improves to a 27 or 28, I don't see it happening.

ur chances are not good at all

I figured so. I was defered though, I thought I would be straight outright rejected. I can always transfer, kinda my dream to be an aerospace engineer and reflected on that in one of my short essays.
