snap, you and i almost have the same gpa/sat/rank

i'd like to know your chances too for the sake of myself. haha. :|

violetblossom, what's your intended major?

liberal arts

I'd say a pretty good chance then.

I wonder if you can claim instate (by using your dad's address) but have a NC transcript and have physically resided out of state. That could be an issue as to whether you get in or not. You are not top 10%, but pretty close and if you were a TX resident it would help you. Your test scores are kind of low. I would look back through the archives and see what kinds of stats got in and which didn't. That should give you some idea of your chances. I would also check with UT about your residence status, as that could also effect your chances.

for a liberal; arts major your chances seem pretty good...

Yeah I am not sure how they will look at the app, if your HS is in NC and your address is in Texas. I am pretty sure top 10% only works for schools in Texas, even if you do reside here. Good luck though, your stats all look good, aside from your standardized test scores. Hopefully that isn't weighed too heavily on your admission, since you have a ****load of extracurriculars/volunteer stuff.

Your pretty much sitting where I am, aside from the SAT/ACT, as well.
