yep im from hong kong. but its complicated..as i said.
cos even tho im fr hong kong, im considered a canadian citizen (ontario) so guess the whole mcgill-values-international-students doesnt apply to me..

Yeah, same here: I'm getting
Ready for Review," even though I've only sent in my first semester grades. They will need our second semester grades as well though, for sure. I only have six completed credits for first semester, so that's all McGill has of me; they can't possibly reach a decision just based on that.

Before I came to Canada, I did high school and everything else in Hong Kong. But you're right. If you're considered a Canadian citizen, then you don't get the international treatment.

mcgill says that we have to submit all of our required documents by April 30?? But i wont get my final college transcript till may! (http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/undergrad2007-08/other/)
another thing is, does anyone know whether our high school transcripts havta be sent DIRECTLY from our high school? cos i still have three more copies of them in my dorm...

They'll wait for your transcript; my classes don't end til late May and last year they just waited and gave me my decision in June. (Sucks waiting that long though.)

I just finished an ordeal with McGill since I took my time with sending my first semester grades from this year. They told me that they review all the transfer apps. multiple times and will release the transfer decisions between March 2 - May 17.
