Recommendations:
I can count on good recommendations from Teachers and spectacular ones from peers. I also have a good working relationship with my counselor.

Standardized Exams:

SAT: Not Yet taken Practice 2040 Needs Improvement
ACT: Practice 29

Do I have a good chance of making it in and if not what do I need to improve? I'm also thinking of Cornell as a second choice, how do these schools classify in terms of reach (Shoot for the moon or realistic reach schools)? Thanks

i forgot to mention that i am on the crew team but that i mainly do that for fun rather than competitively

If you want to row next year make sure you get in touch with the coach. I don't know your skill level or dedication but I friends of mine, (a girl, added this because I can't tell from your name if you're a girl or guy but it doesn't matter really), got accepted with great grades and scores and the whole package but her hook was getting recruited for crew. It can take a serious applicant into the acceptance pile.

You'll need considerably better than a 2040/29.

If your name is sephiroth you're in
