Chances?

Hey all, I've already sent in all my applications but I was still wondering how I may do...I'm a Pakistani student in Texas at a Newsweek Top 100 High School

UW GPA: 3.4
W GPA: 4.2

SAT: 1500 / 2110
ACT: 31
SAT II: 750 Math II, 740 Physics, 650 Biology E

Rank: 110/550 (Top 20%)
I've taken all the hardest courses possible, 10 APs total by the time I graduate

I think my essays are pretty good, my main essay was about dealing with my cousin being kidnapped and having to go through the entire trauma of the kidnappers asking for a ransom, trying to communicate with the rest of my family (throughout the world) to try and get everything figured out, and eventually having soldiers from the army save him (he's ok now!). The rest of my essays should be at least decent. A NYU specific one was very well received by whoever I showed it to so I guess that is good.

Awards:

National Merit Commended, AP Honor with Distinction, National Latin Exam Maxima Cum Laude

ECs:

I think they're above average, they include over 300 hours of leadership activities, another 100 of religious community service, Relay for Life, and some other stuff like NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, and some school clubs.

Oh, and some further clarification: I'm applying with Neuroscience as my first choice major and Business as my second choice. And also for recs I have a teacher with a PhD who knows me pretty well write mine for me.

I know my UW GPA and rank are awfully low but I'm hoping I still have a shot...thanks in advance!

How was the mid-yr report?

Do not send in the SAT score;your 31ACT is much better.

My mid-year report is pretty consistent with everything else, nothing got better but nothing got worse either. Garrity, are you sure you didn't misread my post? That's 1500/1600 and 2110/2400, not 1500/2400, and although I don't know the ACT equivalent out of 2400, I'm certain a 1500/1600 is better than a 31 ACT (but I already sent both anyways, so it doesn't matter).

1500/1600 is fantastic.. most colleges give more weight to it than the full 2400 point scale.
