ouch-- I would say that the college admissions process is a complete crapshoot, so why not give it ur best and try anyways? who cares if you get in, and who cares if you don't? It's not like you're treating harvard as a safety. You're gonna go to a great school, no matter where it is.

Who knows maybe it will be : Accepted. Or Rejected.

I don't! (neither does charter)

But like I said, don't have false hope. Plan on other schools as well!!

Your profile's pretty good. Your SAT IIs, however, are on the low side. I hope, by the way, that you took a third SAT subject test and just failed to write it down here because Harvard requires three. You're an Academic 5 (on the A.I.), which means you fall right in with the majority of applicants. Statistically, you've got about a 1/5 chance of acceptance--that's my rough estimate.

Like it's been said before, it's a crap-shoot for you. You have a decent chance; and at a place like Harvard, that's an honor. You've done very well and you should be proud. Good luck and I hope things turn out for you.

I can see your stats is not bad. Anyone with such stats can have a chance to get in depending whether Harvard needs you such type of person. Please keep in mind Harvard seeks a well around a class, not a well around person. I have known a kid who got in Harvard class of 2011 (early action). I was very surprised that he was accepted because his SAT I was around 2000 although SAT II wasn’t bad around 760-780. He took SAT I twice. The first time was around 2100, and the second time was lower (100 more) than the first time. His GPA is good but not so great. His rank is about 2 or 3/100. Although he has participated quite a few ECs, but he has never got even one state level award. He is a nice boy. I believe his essay is pretty good, and his recommendation letters are also impressive. All I can say is he is very lucky to get in! I also believe Harvard needed such a type of student like him. Well, lot of factors can affect your chances to be admitted by Harvard. Good luck!
