<p>No ECs at all? That may pose a problem.</p>
<p>Maybe you haven't done any organized ECs - any hobbies? What do you do outside of school? I have a friend who got in on bike-riding.</p>
<p>Are you planning to retake the ACT? Your score of 27 seems low in light of your stellar academic GPA and class rank in a fairly large class. Why no ECs? Job,sick relative,childcare or just studying?</p>

<p>that's a projected score.. i got an average of 34 on my practice tests but with the one i took on the tenth i feel like i totally bombed it.. so what do i need to get my Act up to?</p>

<p>are u in junior or senior, becuz if u r a junior u still ave time to join a club or 2..but if this is ur last yr it may look bad</p>
<p>Like everybody else is saying, 27's a bit low, no EC's at all is a significant problem. If you're a jumior start joining stuff now, don't wait until senior year.</p>

and schools like WashU like to see leaders, and it doesnt seem like you have any real leadership capabilities outside of academics. may i suggest running for student goverment next year. there are usually 3 or so spots that open senior year</p>
