Recs: One extremely good from my principal and one was ok.

ESSAYS: good -One of my essays is on being a first generation college student.

SCHOOLS:
Middlebury
Holy Cross
St. Michael's
Brandeis
Ithaca
UMASS Dartmouth
Stonehill
Quinnipiac

Hoping to study molecular Biology with Pre-med

Middlebury is my top choice but most likely won't get in

and St.Michael's is my saftey (beautiful area and I just love it!)

Chance me please!

Middleburry-reach Your SAT scores are alittle on the low end but your grades are solid and rank/gpa are very important whereas standardized testing is only important. Your SAT scores are within the range so you have a good shot...it is just is pretty selective
Holy Cross- match but i know little about the school
St. Michael's- i have no idea
Brandeis-high match/reach (?) Again it is competitive and your SAT scores are in the low/middle end of the 50% so its hard to say
Ithaca- safty
UMASS- bigger safty
stonehill-safty/ loow match
Quinnipiac- sorry never heard of it

These may be a little off because i don't know much about these schools

Thanks....I know my SAT scores are pretty low for middlebury and Brandeis so I doubt that I'll get in....if only my scores were a little higher.

I mean its hardly out of the picture...Your grades could make up for lower scores and they are still within the range. esp the verbal and writing isn't really being looked at yet. If you just need a soild essay

anyone else with an opinion??

slgiht reach brandeis, reach middlebury... i think you can get into the other colleges

Thanks Crouton.....I am still extremely nervous....I just wish I'd get one acceptance letter already lol

slc2007... i had also applied to middlebury ED 2 but i got rejected, my SAT scores were low, may b that was the reason...

anyways, gd luck to u, hope u'll make it

....O I hope I get in....sorry about the rejection....but I'm sure I'll get mine soon....I do have pretty low SAT scores so I'm sure that will be my downfall too! thanks for the hope!

anyone else want to chance me??

Okay, this is where I think you stand:

Middlebury - reach
Holy Cross- match
St. Michael's- safety
Brandeis - match/slight reach
Ithaca - safety
UMass Dartmouth - BIG safety
Stonehill - match
Quinnipiac - low match/safety

O/T - I'm from MA too, and I'm wondering how you found out about the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. I'm a junior and received advanced on math and english but I didn't get a letter or anything.

Good luck!

steved2331 my principal told me I won the scholarship at the beginning of this year.....I got advanced on both areas as well....and I'm sure you'll be receiving your scholarship next year as well if not at the end of this year...good luck!!

and thanks for chancing me!
