I don't know much about the standards of Cornell U so i hope i can get some help here. i wanna know if i have a good chance of being accepted there as a transfer student.
Im a freshman right now and I have a 91 average in the first semester(not sure how much that is on the 4.0 scale).
I have scored on my:
SAT: CR: 640 Math:700 Writing:700
SAT II: PHYS: 690 Math IIC:690 CHEM:730
Grades 11 and 12, I was 1st/35 with averages of 92, and 91.
I've graduated with honors, gotten a few awards from highschool, won second place in a huge science fair (with students from all over the country). I've done a lot of community service, i was in the computer/tech club in highschool.

pretty please? :)

oh and im from lebanon, so not so many EC's available to me...

Try raising your SAT scores by a 20-30 points.

Which college are you planning to apply and what's your planned major ?

I wanna get into Engineering, specifically Chemical Engineering... I can't retake the SATs now coz it'll be too late, but I'm taking the TOEFL just to show that my English is good... btw in case i didn't specify, i'm a freshman at the American University of Beirut (best uni in middle-east, and is cosidered good in the states), and I'm hoping to transfer...

I think GPA, Teacher Recs and Essay matter the most during the transfer. I dunno I'm not sure.
