chances?

<p>Can someone please offer their opinion on my chances? it would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>White male from NJ. Currently a junior.
GPA- 4.15
Currently ranked first in my class of 439.</p>

<p>Transcript- all A's or A+'s (except for an A- in AP U.S. History 2). 1 AP class soph year, 3 junior year, and 4 on my schedule for senior year. </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Varisity Tennis team 9-present, Spanish Honor Society, [probable] Nat'l Honor Society in this coming Spring, Academic Competition Club, Drama Club, Junior Class Treasurer, Student Council, International Culture, Future Problem Solvers [have been to state competitions for F.P.S., Jr. Cotillion Committee.
Involved in community service [one example: local food drive based on a solicited grant of $2,000 from Build-a-Bear, Inc.] . Finalist for New Jersey Governor's School, a summer study program that accepts 100 students per program [there are 6 programs, i believe.]</p>

<p>First SAT score was 1830 (CR 600, M 610, W 620). I know these must go up, and I'm working on it. How high should I shoot for? </p>

<p>thanks...are you familiar with their fin. aid policies? meaning, would i get some money if i get accepted?</p>

<p>i think sure in....i got in with a 3.1-3.2 GPA and they offered me half scholarship....granted my SATs were much higher but i think GPA is a more important factor in college admissions</p>

<p>Considering you're a junior you definitely are very competitive. If you can get your SAT into the 1300 range (out of 1600) I think you might be an auto-admit with your GPA and class rank. Probably will be competitive for a good scholarship too.</p>
