So, what does everyone think. Admission to uva has gotten really difficult and i am not quite sure if my stats will do it. comments would be helpful

i forgot to add that i have over 200 hrs community service and by end of high school will have taken 9 ap courses(euro hist, u.s. hist, calc ab, chem, eng lang, eng lit, spanish lang, govt, psych)

Your test scores are nothing spectacular(1360), but I think you will be in the middle of the pack among UVA applicatns with those scores. But your gpa is pretty low for uva, because average gpa for uva last year was 3.8. And that's AVERAGE, so you need to be better than the average applicant. You have some leadership positions and a lot of community service hours. So those could compensate for your low academic record. But you should write good essays and get good recs. and hopefull that will increase your chances (that or become black or latina) are you instate?

yep i am instate. i was afraid that i would look like an average applicant. I should have pretty good recs and my essays will hopefully be awesome. Do you think that having really good midyear grades would boost me into the accepted pile?

applying ED never hurts either =)

^forgot that they are taking that away lol
write great essays and keep an upward trend then
