<p>i recently visited Vanderbilt, and i love the school. i plan on applying ED. so what do ya'll think of my chances?</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: (my EC's aren't that strong)</p>

<p>band, leadership program, volunteering, yearbook, private piano lessons, national society of high school scholars</p>

<p>GPA is good, but not great and your 1300 is not that good, but despite your above average statistics I think you can get in. Write some good essays and try to tie in the fact you're african-american because being black does help you a lot, I'd know.</p>
