give me an honest answer thanks

However did you manage an SAT score of 1354? That, alone, should get you into the university ;)

are you really good at baseball or football? like varsity athlete good? or do you just play?

Do you not have to take the new SAT if you are applying for Fall 2006?

Not too good.

I think if you are a junior, I would try to raise that sat score, b/c even though by no means is that a low score, it's never hurts to get higher. I think it doesn't matter the quanity of the ecs, just how committed you are to them. For example, the fact that you are on student council for two consecutive years shows committment and interest.
Secondly I come from a school that does not rank so I'm not sure how the ranking system works. However, are you #100 something out of 600 something? I really can't say how much of a factor Rice stresses on class rank so I would climb up just in case they do.

If you want to see what your chances are look at the caliber of students who were rejected from Rice and compare your stats with theirs.

there's always a chance....I say go for it, as long as you have your safeties and middle reaches etc. You're not particularly badly placed or anything, but I think you should take gamingurux's advice and check out the deferees and rejected applicants from the ID round - keeping in mind that the ID round has a higher acceptance rate than RD's.
