<p>Junior Russian Immigrant in suburb of Milwaukee WI.</p>

<p>Cum. Gpa = 3.8 (went from 3 freshman year to having 4's thereafter)</p>

<p>ACT = 28</p>

<p>SAT = 1820 (old score, still waiting on new score)
CR 570 W 590 (essay 7) M 660</p>

<p>AP Comp Sci = 4
currently taking AP Bio, senior year is all AP's</p>

<p>I am getting a job this summer and I will finally do volunteer work this summer.</p>

<p>It looks good. A strong GPA and a decent ACT score along with being instate, you should have no problem getting into UW, especially with lots of AP's senior year. </p>

<p>I know of many kids who got in with a lot less.</p>

<p>And I know many who did not. About 60-40 in favor. Hardest from some Milwauee suburbs and instate really not a help anymore--better off out of state as they like the $$$$ it brings.</p>

<p>If that GPA is unweighted then definitely in as long as you don't write the worst essay ever.</p>
