I'm planning on having U of M as a safety school. II'm a junior who lives in state, in fact in town, has like a 3.96 unweighted GPA with basically all of the hardest and most advanced classes.

ACT: 33 overall
Math 36
English 35
Science 33
Reading 28
Writing 12

SAT 2130 (planning to retake and score higher...)
Math 700
Reading 680
Writing 750

SATIIs scores will be back in a week or so but I think i did well

Won a bunch of state championships in tennis and am ranked really high (not high enough to play on their team tho :( ), in some other clubs and have solid extracirrics, should get awesome recs

I'm white and my dad went their and am in state.

Are my chances pretty solid of being admitted? What about the honors college?

I had some similar statistics, with a lower GPA, higher ACT score, and a few leadership positions, so you should be fine.

Regardless, apply to MSU. It's always nice to have a safety for your safety, and you might end up with a full ride to MSU or get into their special med. scholars program (ranked very highly and extremely difficult to get into).

You should be a shoe-in for LSA honors as well. I, and others with lower stats., received automatic admission into LSA honors without applying.
