UCB is never a backup. It's pretty much a crapshoot.

Your academics are very impressive. I would try to do something more in terms of ECs, something youre really passionate about.

Awesome stats. You're definitely academically qualified for the top schools, so I have no idea why you want to retake a 35 and 2300+.

Perfect scores would be nice =).

Thanks for the replies, any ideas for other types of EC? (Jobs - too busy studying for APs and volunteering)

You fit the perfect picture of a Princeton student in my mind. A top student who is also well rounded. I'm just speculating here but if you class size is 900 and your the football captain, I have a feeling you would be one of the best players on MIT's team. I don't know if playing football in college appeals to you at all but I think it would help a lot at MIT. Sports aren't a big deal there, but they would love to get a good football player who can handle the academics. I'd say you get into 3/5 of those top schools at worst. Also, retaking the SAT or ACT would be a waste of time.

yea why the f*** would u retake the SATS wen u got a 2350- its the same as getting a 2400, colleges will not look at u any different (well actually maybe) but still why waste the time and money

to be honest..i dont believe your the captain of the football team at all...

lol don't retake, honestly...my scores were very similar to yours and i got into top schools over people who had perfect scores. after a certain point it really doesn't matter that much lol...you might even make the colleges think you're neurotic if you retake after a 2350 :-P

This kid is such a troll.
