Hopkins doesn't require any SAT II's, but they are suggested.

You seem average numbers-wise.

Yeah...you don't seem to really excel academically in any particular area--your SAT Is are only subpar to average [for Hopkins that is], but at least you have good SAT II scores. Then again, I'm sure there will be plenty of applicants with similar scores in Math and Chem. Is your courseload heavy? Have you taken all the APs you can? How did you do on the AP exams? 4s? 5s? We need to know this information to make a better prediction.

I'm a junior right now and I've taken 2 APs and next year I will be taking 6 APs. So I don't know my scores yet. I'm predicting 5 for Stats, and maybe a 4 for APUSH.

Well your chances are not horrible, but I'd expect Hopkins to be a reach-to-far reach for you.

Ya, thats what I would expect too. I just want to apply to 2 or 3 private schools that I might have a small shot at getting into. If I get it great, but if not, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. My main targets right now are UCs. I need to pick 2 or 3 that are reaches. Right now I'm planning on JHU, NYU, and USC.
