That’s only a few of my ECs from my resume, what do u guys think, any advice or comments is helpful, Thanks!

Ive been studyin nonstop for my sats this june so I hope they go up signifciantly

** Improve your SATs, or else... **

haha thanks for tha comment, ive been goin crazy over the last month specifically studyin for the SATs, ive pretty much had no social life in the past month beacuse i figuerd, i month of absolute torture would be worth gettin into a great college. plus summers comin up so i can definitely relax then.

other than my SATs, do i seem like a wellrounded competetive applicant? thanks

Hey I live in Pittsburgh, PA too! You go to USC or NA or neither? Haha, well I think you'd do good because you're valedictioran. Try to put those SATs or ACTs up, i think ACT is easier and i hate the SAT. Schedules look good so I think you're good candidate. If you become President of those clubs that'd be good, but still there's no big EC hook...

hey i go to usc,how bout u? i also thought that the acts were easier, i only got a 30 cuz i didnt study much cuz it was right after spring break.. i can prolly bring that up to a 33 or 34 if i dont succeed in gettin a 1400+ on these SATs in june.

no hook?? hmm i figured that it would be science-related ECs,, but i havent included all my Ecs, just the main sciency ones,

thanks though

I don't mean to sound overly dreary, but you are like every other candidate they see. Sure, you're valedictorian, but so is everyone else. Your not above the minimum non-recruit SAT scores of 700 on every test. You're projecting a 4 on chemistry?! Decent but not great ECs. If you get up your SAT scores you may have a shot at regular admissions; however, you're going to have spin some tale to even make the great science you've got good enough to get you into PLME. 1) I'd apply early 2)I'd write the best essay you can. 3) You get to get your test scores up, radically, to be competitive in the PLME pool. You're lucky since western PA is underrepresented in the pool usually, but still I wouldn't get too confident unless you get the scores way up.

thanks for the truthful comment. honestly ive been workin incredilbly hard to increase my sats..

i can defintely increase my math to about 770+ but i dont think i will see improvement in CR according to the scores I am still unfortuntely getting...

also, why apply early? i was plannin to apply to a EA early so i could have an option. i was plannin on Georgetown and Stanford for my EAs.

Well as far as i know, stanford is still SCEA, meaning you won't be able to apply to georgetown EA if you do that..

wait, is georgetown single choice also??

what other substantial schools allow you to apply to their school as well as others through EA??

There are plenty of people that had 700+ SAT's who got rejected from Brown, and people with under 700's (me!) that got accepted.

sweet lol, thats great news.

anyways, bump to my previous question

well today was studco elections and i didnt win... cuz are school is a bunch of superficial idiots who vote for the kids who have no high desires in life (true statement, im not being mean).

anyways i didnt win Execeutive Officer, but i think i may be bumped to Governor, do u think this is a big factor for colleges? I was a senataor this year but had no office in 9th nor 10th grade. Do you think colleges will even know the difference between Execeutive Officer and Governor? thanks

I go to a public school in Miami, and we don't have anything called "executive officer" or "governor" positions on student council.

If that's common in your area, it shouldn't be a problem. If not, you might want to try and find out what the equivalent title would be in a President/VP/Secretary/Treasurer-type system, like mine.
