Chances?!?!

<p>I think I am going to apply RD. I was just wondering if I stand a chance of getting in. I know Stanford is a reach, but I'd still like to try.</p>

<p>Anti-Tobacco Youth Coalition affiliated with Orange County Health Department...4 years, Board Member, Alternate Chairperson... 90+ hours doing projects like making beaches and outdoor malls smoke-free.</p>

<p>"Giving Thanks to Books"... co-founded this annual bookdrive in the city of Westminster to give books to underpriveleged (esp bilingual) children and organizations like Boys and Girls Club. Over 5000 books to date.</p>

<p>well, it's too late, but i think you could have gotten in EA too. Anyways, I think you have great chances RD. You seem stronger in math and science than writing/english. If you're not a native speaker then bring up that fact. It'll make up for your lowest scores (verbal and writing)</p>

<p>thanks a lot. maybe i like stanford because i am californian. harvard, yale, princeton seem like too hardcore (although stanford is hardcore too... haha). i might apply. yeah, i "test" better in math and sciences, but i enjoy english. strange huh. i love debates and giving speeches, and i dread doing labs. is anyone else doing an online application?</p>
