im about to finish my junior year at a competitive public high school
my weighted gpa is 3.75 which puts me somewhere near the bottom of the top quarter of my class
i have taken 3 ap classes and will take 3 next year
i expect to get 5s or at least 4s on the ap tests i took this spring
i have also taken numerous honors classes, but not every one offered
sat: cr-750 math-720 writing-750
i retook the sat in june
my psat score will probably get me a letter of commendation
sat ii: bio-690 us-740 i will take literature in the fall and will most likely score in the 700s
i have played 3 different sports at my high school but none at the varsity level and i wont be playing any next year
3 years so far on the staff of the literary magazine, next year as editor-in-chief
2 years working for the schools television station, next year more advanced
essay writing is my thing so those should be pretty good

id apply northwesterns school of communication

What is your UW GPA?

i actually have no idea but i messed around with some numbers and came up with a guess of 3.4 uw...
what do you think? too far of a reach? advice?

it's a reach for sure, might as well apply otherwise you'll never know (i love northwestern but i still regret not applying to brown, dartmouth, or georgetown because now i'll never know if i would have gotten in)

A 3.4 would make Northwestern a REACH. Good scores, but I've seen people who have had low GPA's and high scores get rejected a lot. Still apply though!
