<p>I hope that title was attractive enough for you. </p>

<p>First off, if it affects my chances at all, I would like to complete my pre-med and probably major in molecular bio. I am currently entering my senior year in high school. </p>

<p>Unweighted GPA for 9th-11th grade- 4.0
Weighted GPA- 4.35
Class rank- 3/530</p>

<p>ACT- 30 (36 English, 31 Math, 27 Reading, 27 Science)
SAT Subject tests:
Biology: 730
Math II: 690</p>

<p>AP/Honors courses taken jr/sr year:
AP Bio
AP Chem
AP AB Calc
AP Language and Composition
AP Literature and Composition
AP Government
AP US History
Honors Pre-Calc
College Physics (counts as an honors class at my school, but the credit is from a community college so it won't transfer to any good schools)</p>

<p>Out of state means basically no chance at Berkeley and UCLA. Your great GPA is undermined by relatively low test scores; you should try to bring them up. NYU is probably your least reachy choice. What's your safety?</p>

<p>Would it really be that hard for me to get into UCLA or Berkeley out of state? NYU Is a smaller reach than UC Irvine!?</p>

<p>Your 27 science seems to rule out any serious Pre-Med programs. Other applicants will have scored much higher. I don't see Hopkins happening.</p>

<p>Can't my decent SAT Bio subject test score balance out with my somewhat low ACT Science score?</p>

<p>Eh...not really. The SATII isn't as impressive as the AP. And I scored 30 points higher than that my freshman year, so it's not that impressive.</p>
