chances?

<p>I am thinking about applying Ed :</p>

<p>SAT 1:
M: 620
CR: 700
W: 770</p>

<p>SATII: 600 Math II , 670 Chem
GPA is 4.2/4.0 unweighted</p>

<p>going into senior year I have taken 4 APs: Chem, English, Calc, World History</p>

<p>Science Club President - previously rep - (member for 5 years)
Science Club competition - national runner up
- other state, district, and regional wins in various competitions
Varsity Lacrosse (4 years)
Lacrosse Academic all-american
Varsity Sailing Team (8 years)
first chair flute - 2 years
- highest rankings in district performances
over 150 hours community service
volunteer at food pantry, library, and church
steady job 30 hours a week for 9 weeks</p>

<p>how good of a chance do I have at getting into Vanderbilt if I apply early?
Will my SAT math score and SAT II scores (I don't know why I screwed up so bad on them) drastically effect my chances? I'd appreciate any input!!</p>

<p>Your GPA is great but your SAT score is low. Vandy tends to be pretty holistic so make sure you do a good job on your essays and get good teacher recommendations. You are probably borderline and it could make the difference.</p>
