I am panning to major in the biological sciences and possibly minor in music. I was also planning on submitting an audition CD or getting a live audition. How much could a half-decent supplement help in the admissions process?

So...what are my chances? What do I need to do in order to give my self a shot?

Thanks

Make sure to do that, it can help a lot.
Your profile looks very good overall, so you will have a good shot. Sending in an audition tape is a must in your case.

Anybody else have comments/suggestions?

How competitive is the Stanford orchestra/music program?

I don't know about the orchestra, but the top musicians in the wind ensemble are all-state level players.
