Chances?

lol... I'm one of those typical people who are worried about getting into colleges.... I even had a nightmare of me not getting into any colleges recently... ^^ Anyways, for all of you experienced/smart people, what do you think my chances are?

Currently resident of Hawaii, came from Korea in 6th grade

Little Competitive School in Hawaii (very competitive)
GPA- 3.85 (weighted)
GPA- probably 3.7 unweighted
My class rank will probably be top 25%.

I did pretty okay in 9th and 10th grade, but stepped it up in 11th grade

SAT 2:

Bio+Chem+USH- 710
MAth II- 800
Probably send all

SAT- 2100
ACT Composite-33 (will probably send ACT)

EC-

Co-Pres+ Co Founder of Republic Club
Co-Pres+ Co Founder of Save the Aina (Community Service)
Speech and Debate (Made States every year, and won 3 trophies so far... lol)
School Orc for 3 years (probably quit next year tho.... still outside lessons)
Volunteer work at Shriners since 10th grade
Eagle Scout at my troop
Varsity Kayaking in 10th grade

So, how does it look? Is it okay for Columbia? If not, how about colleges like Pomona or maybe Georgetown? Please! Lemme know!

Reach.

I love Pomona by the way.

Sorry, big reach for Columbia, Pomona; reach for Georgetown.

If you don't have an unusual "hook" like recruited athlete, legacy, or national art, science, math, or music award, etc., then your class rank below top 10%, GPA, and below average (for top schools) SAT scores will hurt you. Debate awards and eagle scout help but probably not enough to overcome the hard numbers. Consider as a starting point schools ranked above 30-40 in USNWR.

My D found that without a hook, her "match" schools were those with 75th percentile SAT scores equal to hers. For you those would be schools like RPI, Lehigh, Wake Forest, Connecticut College, Bucknell - all great schools.
