My high school is a really selective, but public high school that takes only the top students in the County. Classes are honors, no APs available.

Everything looks fine. To stand out, you'll have to find some kind of focus for your application. Right now it all strikes me as kind of fractured and ordinary. You should find a direction or a way of presenting yourself that makes you look real, interesting, charismatic, and unique. I have no sense of who you are right now. Your essays (short and long) and rec letters will help a lot on this.

agree with corranged. You're definitely a strong student and you're definitely in the range, so you should take the opportunity to work on your essays this summer (ha, right) and think about why a school like Chicago would be good for you.

If this is who i think it is, my old academy friend, sounds like you've done pretty well for yourself there...good luck man you definitely have what it takes to get in
