I am also doing psu summer music camp....if you need any more info thanks!

bump (i dont know why people do that so i did....)

This thread is already on the top of the list. I think you will get in. Just make sure you apply before November. I got in with 4.0w/3.74uw/1100/1660 to engineering (I heard it was suppose to be harder; I don't know). We have similar stats. By the way, PSU doesn't look at EC's (I only put 2-3 down, because that was all I had).

You are correct about Engineering. I believe even the SAT verbal scores of the COE students are typically higher than those in Liberal Arts.

i got into teh COE for chemE for this fall at UP and i had a 1200/1600 and 1780 or something out of 2400 but my verbal was bad like 550 or something but math helped me a lot lol

By the way, I got into Fall too. If you (OP) are scared you won't get into Fall, you have the summer to bring your hopes up.

Admission to the music school requires a successful audition in addition to meeting general university admission criteria. Entrance to the music ed major has its own set of requirements. Take advantage of your time at the summer music camp to get to know the music school faculty...they will be happy to advise you.

I know about the audition, but in order to be allowed to audition you have to get into the school, even if you dont get in musically you can still go. If i apply around august 3-5 is this better, does it help that my g-pa went there, and since my gpa is still high even though scores are 1060/1080...also im willing to do summer session. eh?
