<p>Hey, so im looking at Cornell, Brown, Northwestern and Wash U St louis (for engineering) but I'm not sure how good my academics and ECs need to be, for them, anybody know where i stand? </p>

Leadership positions: Captain of chess team

Volunteer/Service Work: Volunteering at a local animal shelter, fund raising for the My Lai peace Park Project, 20hrs of other minor projects including stuff for NHS</p>

<p>your stats are good, but i don't see anything that stands out. also, i would send the ACT score, not the SAT score, that would improve your chances a lot.</p>

<p>They will see his SAT scores anyway because he needs to send in SAT IIs.</p>

<p>Your chances at Brown and Wash U will be improved quite a lot if you apply ED. You look in range for Cornell. Are you good enough to play Div. I baseball at Northwestern?</p>
