I know the ECs might look a little weak, but what do you all think?

You're in.

i would not trust cavalier302. he thinks he is the dean of admissions at UVA. no one is guaranteed. saying, "you're in" means nothing.

dude, why did you bother to post this? your in, no worries :). You def wont get anything special like Jeffs or Echols, but your in.

of course, that comes with the disclaimer that I may be totally wrong, and if you answer to the essay questions are "omlet du fromage," and "No, thank you" you probably wont get in. But great GPA and SAT + In state = IN

You're an idiot, JStew.

can anyone think of something specific that I should improve on? thanks much for the input!

Nothing in particular. Make sure your essays are polished and get your app in early. Maybe you could try a sport?

Cav, in the era of no ED please define "early", and the benefits.
t/y

vistany, I'm just saying to get the application in as soon as it's completed. Many schools both at the undergraduate and graduate level begin reviewing applications before the deadline and sometimes will view an application being in early as a sign of interest. At worst, it won't hurt to finish the application and submit it in november.

Thanks Cav, I wasn't being snarky I just wanted to understand timing issues. Never know what could be helpful, especially in the new system of RD only.
