Chances?

<p>I have around a 3.0 GPA and I'm out-of-state. I want to apply in early,mid-September to the Family and Consumer Sciences School for majoring in Hotel Mgt. Do you think I can make it? </p>

<p>Here were my SAT scores:
March SAT: CR = 450 Math = 530 Writing = 490 Total = 1470
June SAT: CR = 520 Math = 550 Writing = 390 Total = 1460</p>

<p>I didn't really study for the June SAT's and I messed up big time for the MC of the Writing Section while my Essay score went from a 7 in March to a 9 in June. I'm currently studying vigorously on SAT Vocab and doing alot of Practice Tests for the October SATs. I'm aiming for a 1800.(600,600,600)</p>

<p>The writing section of the SAT isn't considered for admission at this point. Apply early and you will get accepted!</p>

<p>dont listen to slipknot, he's making it seem like you'll get in easily. plus they do count the writing section, check the website. 3.0 isnt bad but alot of your A's and B's are electives. Core classes are what matters. yea try harder on your SAT and try to raise the gpa a little bit more and you will be okay.</p>
