Chances?

<p>I'd like to pursue a career in the business world, probably in the area of finance. Would I have a good shot at Fordham with these stats? (I know Fordham is getting more and more selective).</p>

<p>GPA: 3.61 unweighted (all honors courses, will have 8 AP's by graduation)
recieved C+ in AP calc though... first/only grade below B
SAT: 1350/2030 (630 CR, 720 M, 680 W)
EC's: Cross Country 4 yrs. (2 years varsity, captain this year)
Indoor Track: 3 yrs. (took junior year off to nurse xc injury)
Outdoor Track: 4 yrs. (3 years varsity, should be captain this year)
Physics team co-captain (senior year only)</p>

<p>I think you have a very good shot. I can sincerely say, though, that one of the most important part of a Fordham application is it's essay. The ad-com really parts a large amount of weight on the essay. Fordham isn't afraid to reject someone who they think won't fit in New York. I worked this past year in the Admissions Department as a student worker, and there were many people I was surprised that they let in. Conversely, there were applications who I thought were sue-ins, but got rejected. But I don't think you should have a problem. If Business is your thing, there's no better place than Fordham.</p>
