Recs

I think I will get pretty good recommendations from my counselor and teachers.

I plan on joining AFROTC and going on to be a pilot in the USAF and hopefully one day fly as a test pilot. I hope I'm looking like a match...

Forgot to add that my mom is a UofM alumni...

looks like a low match to me..possibly safety cause you're instate

Yeah , safety.

safety

not sure how you can know if you are a possible college track athlete.
If you're not a state champion, or pretty close, don't count on running at michigan. Seeing that you only have 1st team conference honors, it's not even an issue at UMICH. Take a look at UMICH's times in w/e you do, you're in for a real surprise. UMICH doesn't sacrifice athletics at all.

1MX,

I was saying that I could go to college and run track, maybe not UM. I did end up going to states for the high jump this year; 6' 4" is my highest as a junior.

I just looked at UofM's HJ stats and they aren't even that great. They don't even compare to places like Purdue, USC, UCLA, or even Grand Valley or EMU for that matter...

match/safety

cough bump cough

You're a safety. Don't stress too much over it.

3.9 unweighed GPA, 30 ACT and not ranked in the top 10% of his class makes you a solid (if not safe) match.

Alexandre,

That is my weighted GPA, but still my unweighed GPA is 3.88. It's lookin' good though, thanks!

Question: Isn't engineering really competitive at UM? I thought he was a match too, but his ACT math score and pre-calc grades aren't great (though, they are decent). Just wondering if someone could clarify that so I'm more informed next time. Like I thought the avg. ACT was around a 32 or 33 for engineering.

would a 34 ACT from OOS get me into any schoalrhips? ranges?

bumpppppppppppp
